What is DECA?

DECA is an organization aimed to help prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs interested in business careers to help boost their knowledge in business.

What is a role play?

A role play is a given scenario that you and/or a partner produces a solution to and presents in front of a judge. Role plays are done at DECA conferences and they give you real life preparations for future business encounters in the real world.

How can I earn money in my DECA account?

You can earn money by taking shifts in the Satellite Store as well as the School Store. You can provide auction items for our dinner and auction, you can participate in Drive 4 Ur School, and obtain vendors for our Home and Living Show.

What is it like to compete?

Competing is an amazing experience for everyone. Not only do you gain professional experience to put to use in the real world, but you also make countless connections with businessmen and women. And on top of this, you have a great time, make new friends, and make a lot of memories.

What is a written?

A written is a project based on the category you chose to compete in. If you do not place at districts but, you still want to go to states you have the option to write a paper (written) . The written consists of a poster or a presentation and an essay outlining the plan for your given scenario.
